Our office is located at 417 North Longstreet Street (better known as Highway 52), just three doors down from Kingstree Town Hall (which is at the flashing light) in Kingstree, South Carolina.  GILMAN & ASSOCIATES Real Estate, LLC (originally known as Gilman Agency) was started in 1968 by Arthur Gilman and was joined by Patricia B. Gilman in 1972.  Ms. Gilman took over as Broker-In-Charge in 1982 and was the first female realtor in town.  In 1985, her daughter, Diane G. Boyd joined the staff (part-time) with her husband, Alton Boyd, Jr. (who has been licensed since 1986). Mr. and Mrs. Boyd have recently become Brokers and Pat and her daughter, Diane, have changed positions. Betty Etheridge recently joined the firm.  Ms. Etheridge received her license in 1997 and is knowledgeable in tax records.  She has been employed with the Williamsburg County Tax Assessor's Office Supervisor of Mapping and Conveyances for 20+ years. She has just been promoted to County Tax Assessor.  One of our newest sales associates, Victoria F. Wooten, is originally from Kingstree and has spent time in the Wilmington, North Carolina area handling a lot of personal rental properties.  Being recently licensed, she is alert to all the new laws. Ralph Strong, who resides in Surfside Beach, is active in commercial properties.  He is very experienced and comes on board as an associate broker. As of January 25, 2006 we welcome Dale W. Newton to our agency.  Even though he is newly licensed, he has had experience with buying and selling land.  He comes to us with a background in management of people and manufacturing. Dale is a native of Williamsburg County and has worked in this community all of his life. As we continue to grow, we are pleased to announce that Chet Thompson has become our newest member to join our agency.  He has had previous experience in sales and will be around the office full time to help you find that piece of land, commercial building, or perfect home! Also recent new sales associates joining our firm are Cheryl Lane  and Debby McCutchen.  As of January 2008 we have the newest sales associate, Carl McCrea.  He will be part-time as he works with a local surveyor.
